Ariul Mood Maker Mask Nobody Knows Why I'm So Chic

From memebox site:
This skin soothing and smoothing facial sheet mask is enriched with ceramide and various peptides to deliver high concentrations of vital nutrients to support the look of supple skin.

Key ingredients: ceramide, peptides

This mask is part of Ariul Mood Maker Masks. All of them are 5 free, which means they don’t contain artificial coloring, mineral oils, benzophenone, talc and sulfate substances. Moreover sheets are made with natural fiber. The ,,chic” phrase doesn’t really mean much, it’s just a name. Basically what this mask should do is smooth and nourish your skin.
First of all, isn’t this package super adorable? ;D Normally Ariul have quite chic, simple packaging but this one is funny and full of images. The owl made my day.
I was quite surprised when I opened it. All mask sheets I ever used before contained really liquid, clear essence. This one was different, it was creamy and with some white colour. I was happy with it because it kind of matches with nourishing promises. The scent was just weird. At first I was sure I smell a lot of alcohol but more I was sniffing it more I wasn’t sure what the hell it is. Later it became sweet, so maybe avocado? It wasn’t bad scent anyways.
This sheet mask should be big enough for everyone I suppose. It doesn’t have the ,,caps’’ for eyes, like Benton Snail masks does. The foil, that contained mask sheet, wasn’t really big, so we don’t get crazy amount of essence like it does often happens with sheet masks (once I had enough of essence for like 5 uses ;o), but it’s enough. The mask doesn’t dry up on your face and also you have enough of essence for another use (of course not on sheet masks, just as regular essence). I recommend to squeeze the sheet after use, you will get some of remaining liquid, which you can pat on your face.
After removing mask my face felt hydrated and really smooth. I have really sensitive skin and it didn't irritated me so that's another good thing. I hadn't any breakout after use, which happens often when I use new cosmetics. On the other hand the nourishing effect wasn't that spectacular. I think it's good mask for daily use, when you need to boost up your skin but it won't be enough if you have some crisis with super dry skin etc.

Memebox Starter Set #3 Intro to Tea

What memebox stated about this box:

Here's a guide to a mix of full-sized natural remedies to address all your skin care concerns! Teas are natural wonders that have long been touted for their countless health and beauty benefits! Great for K-Beauty beginners and K-Beauty holics alike, this Intro to Tea set packs a punch with natural yet potent tea infused cosmetics that work to brighten dark spots, clear pores of impurities and perfect a glowing complexion.

This set includes: $159 value for $40 + Free Shipping

Lately I’m not very happy with regular memeboxes, but I find sets amazing. Boxes got more expensive and mostly they have only 5 products, which one of them for sure will be something cheap like hand cream. For this particular set I paid about $5 more than for box (most of boxes are now $29+$7 shipping), and from the very beginning I knew it was worth my money. Actually, this set is really similar to memebox tea box, which I bought several months ago, but in this set we are also getting two, full-sized A-true products – and that’s a reason why I decided to get this set. I read amazing reviews about this brand, so I decided to give it a shoot ;).

Since link with descriptions of products can disappear shortly, I decided to edit information which memebox provided on their site.

  • A·TRUE White Snow Tea Brilliant Essence 40ml ($55)
My thoughts: It has very interesting ingredients list and apparently 83% of black tea water. I have a lot of post acne blemishes on my face so I will be able to test its whitening/brightening promises, that is after I will finish essences I am using now ;). For now, it’s the product I’m excited the most. For more information, you can go to A-true website, which is in English hurray.

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water(32,880mg), 1,2-Hexanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Triethylhexanoin, Phenyl Trimethicone, Panthenol, Salix nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, **Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract(13mg), Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Ferment Extract, Imperata Cylindrica Root Ferment Extract, Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract, Punica Granatum Fruit Extract, Morus Alba Fruit Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Nut Extract, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Sodium Polyacrylate, Polyurethane-39, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Propanediol, Fragrance, Water, Disodium EDTA

  • A·TRUE Himalaya Black Tea Watery Gel Cream 50g ($49)
My thoughts: It’s second and last A-true product in this set. Actually in the tea box I received sample size of it together with sample of white snow essence and several others A-true products. I still haven’t tested them out, since I am saving them for vacations. Despite that I know many people liked it. Ingredients list is much worse than essence, mostly because of alcohol. I was planning to use this cream in summer and now I will for sure do so, since alcohol shouldn’t be so bad at that time of a year, when my skin gets quite oily. More at A-true website

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water(66%), Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Saccharide Isomerate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Trehalose, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Betaine, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract(16,750mg), Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, C14-22 Alcohols, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Allantoin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Hydrogenated Lecithin,  Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, 1,2-Hexanediol, Propanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Polysorbate 60, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Triethylhexanoin, Tromethamine, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethiconol, Carbomer, Aqua, Silica, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance

  • A;T FOX Gyoolpy Tea Fresh Water 100ml ($10)
My thoughts: So this and following products I already got in tea box. I hadn’t chance to test it out yet, because I decided to save it for travel since it’s really small and nice to carry in bag. I don’t mind to get back-up, I use a lot of mists especially in summer.

  • A;T FOX Tea Toc Water Clear Tablet 4g ($2)
My thoughts: I received this tablet several times already and I couldn't bring myself to test it. It does look like interesting product but the fact you need to use sink or basin just throws me off.

  • E CHOICE Fermented Tea Skin Drinks Sleeping Pack 70g ($2)
My thoughts: This product I actually opened. I use it time to time but I’m still not sure what to think about it. It has really weird but also fun texture, at first it’s like gel but when you put it on your face you can feel water melting into your skin, if it does make any sense ;D. I do like that feeling. I think it does hydrate pretty nicely overnight but I think it might have alcohol. I couldn’t find ingredients list so it’s just me guessing. The fact is, sometimes my skin itches after putting this pack, mostly around my nose. Because of that I’m not sure if I will open another one of it.

  • THE SKIN HOUSE Lavender Lightening Emulsion 120ml ($41)
My thoughts: Emulsion from my tea box I sold and only because I thought I will be unable to use it before expiration date. Later I kind of regretted it since it looked like really interesting product. This time I think I will test it :).

Overall: I think I shouldn’t buy mysterious boxes anymore. I tend to be more happy knowing what actually I will receive. I am really happy with this set, mostly because of A-true. Price of any product form this brand is similar to price of this whole set so it was totally worth it.

Memebox Boxing Day Special #5

What memebox stated about this box:

We had originally planned #4 as the very last of our Boxing Day Special series... BUT, we simply could not resist coming up with yet another final box before the year 2014 officially ends! This year has been the most wonderful and unforgettable (and hectic) year for Memebox, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude and love towards our ever so fun and loving K-beauty fans from all over the world! For this Boxing Day Special #5, we've carefully selected 5 full-sized skin care and makeup products from our previous boxes that we thought you'd love to see again!
Enjoy! :)
P.S. this box does not contain any item that was featured in CutiePieMarzia 2.

This is another box in which there isn't information card, instead you need to go to memebox site to find out what included products are.

  • PUREDERM Yogurt Wash-Off Pack 15ea (7$)
A wash-off type pack made from yogurt extracts, collagen, Vitamin E, and various fruit extracts. The kiwi pack helps control excess level of dead skin cells while the strawberry pack helps balance  out excess sebum and oil, both effective for maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion.

My thoughts: It was randomly selected from Kiwi or Strawberry. This brand doesn’t seem really appealing to me but I will try those out anyway as the product itself is quite interesting. I really like to use packs but unfortunately I don’t have much of them. We are getting pretty a lot of it, which is good of course, also I like the idea that they are packaged in sheets – I don’t need to worry that product will catch bacteria or smth.

  • ECHOICE Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub 110g (5$)
Enriched with world-renown superfood – oatmeal and walnut – the Wash Oatmeal Body Scrub is rich in vitamin, lysine, protein, fiber, calcium, tryptophan, and antioxidant components and thus works to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, deep cleanse, and nourish your body all at the same time!

My thoughts: I really like to exfoliate my body but most of body scrubs that I used didn’t worked at all. Since then I started to brush my body and it works way better. Despite that I think I will give this product a try. I received sleeping pack from ECHOICE and I really like it.

  • DR.MJ Real Mucin Restore Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ 10g (54$)
Normal cushion BBs, when applied multiple times over and over, usually end up ruining the initial dewy look that you started with in the morning. However, Dr.MJ Real Mucin Restore Cushion is closer to a skin care formula than a simple BB, because it’s packed with rich nutrients from snail filtrates and various moisturizing agents for adding more radiance and glow to the skin with multiple applications. Free of paraben, mineral oil, benzophenone, talc, and alcohol.

My thoughts: I will be honest, I bought this box just for this thing. I have always wanted to try cushion products so I ended up buying Innisfree cushion, which I still need to test out, but I heard that they run out fast so why not having back-up? :) I really adore packaging, it’s simple but also well made. For me it seems like luxury product. I heard good things about the brand also, I have 2 other things from Dr MJ to test out and they both seems to be really nice also.

  • AHC Real Aqua Velvet Sleeping Pack 80ml (30$)
A luxurious, one-step facial to rejuvenate, brighten, and balance out uneven skin tone and texture for velvety smooth complexion. Real Aqua Velvet Sleeping Pack is lightweight and non-sticky in formula, quickly absorbing into dry, exhausted skin to form a protective moisture barrier that locks in the moisture within skin overnight. It contains niacinamide, adenosine, ice plant extracts, snail secretion, and birch tree sap.

My thoughts: Remember famous and pretty holograms essences? It’s the same brand, which I am not happy about because those products had terrible ingredient list. Fortunately, this product doesn’t seem to be as bad so I probably will try it sometime.

  • MSTAR Malus Intensive Hair Treatment 30g (14$)
Enriched with pure apple extracts, ceramide, panthenol, and 40 different kinds of naturally-derived ingredients, the Malus Intensive Hair Treatment delivers rich nutrition and moisture deep into dry, damaged hair, resulting in firmer, glossier hair ends and healthier scalp as well.

My thoughts: Ah so happy seeing this item here. I got one in luckybox 10 and I ended up swapping it (only because I really wanted the other product) but I really wanted to try this out.

Overall: I didn’t expected that this box will be any good so I even didn’t considered purchasing it, well that is until spoilers were out. Basically only cushion makes this box worth to buy and even if its overvalued by memebox, you will pay more than 20$ for good cushion anyway. Moreover, I really like the selection of items and I probably will keep everything, which I’m surprised about. I have so many things to use but somehow in this box there are items that  I don’t have at all (like scrub) or I don’t have THAT much (like packs).  I really do like this box and apparently the best way for me to buy memeboxes is only when I know their content.

Memebox Boxing Day Special #2

What memebox stated about this box:

Boxing Day Special Box #2 is sure to be a delight!
This super special box bursts with 10 deluxe miniatures and 1 full-sized item for only $12!
It's got everything from cleansing essentials, complexion-perfectors, and salon quality hair treatments that is sure to level up your beauty!
P.S. This box does not contain any item that was featured in CutiePieMarzia 2.

This time also we don't get information card, instead Memebox asks us to go on their site for more information. Well, I don't like it.

  • DERMA B Fresh Moisture Body Lotion 50ml (full size 400ml for 19$)
A nourishing body lotion targeting dry and sensitive skin types. It’s infused with tea tree, peppermint, bergamot, ginger, and amber notes in a refreshing herbal blend. Its gentle formula is non-sticky, fast-absorbing, and best kept refrigerated.
My thoughts: I received similar one in my luckybox 3 and I loved it. I don’t use lotions often because I hate feeling anything on my skin but the Derma:B lotion was amazing, it wasn’t sticky and it absorbed super-fast into my skin. The smell was lovely too, quite like baby powder, so I am really happy receiving this item.

  • BANILA CO. Claypatra Mineral Salt Clay Pack 12g x2 (full size 100g for 22$)
The 100% pure mud extracted straight from the Dead Sea (consists 32% of salt and minerals) effectively removes any excess sebum, oil, dead skin cells, and external pollutants clogged up in the pores. The mineral-rich formula also delivers deep hydration and nourishment to dry, dull skin.
My thoughts: This product I also received before this time in global 12 and also I liked it very much. Actually, after testing Claypatra I started to like this type of packs. Also 12g of it was enough for 4 uses which is pretty nice, and now we are getting 2 of them. Good job memebox.

  • HANSKIN Bio Origin Royal Ampoule B.B SPF30 PA++ 5ml (full size 35ml for 54$)
Hanskin’s famous Royal Ampoule BB cream is packed with rich nutritients from royal jelly extracts and it lightly glides over your skin when applied, leaving a visibly silkier, brightened complexion.

My thoughts: This one was included in Memebox Mini #1 and I know many people liked it but I’m not one of those people. It was way too heavy for my skin and it quite dried it up so I suppose it’s product for rather oily skin. Also applicator is just stupid, you will end up wasting so many of the product.

  • TONYMOLY BCDation All Master SPF30 PA++ 20g (full size 50g for 24$)
This multi-functional BCDation from Tonymoly is a makeup base, a BB cream, a CC cream, and a foundation all in one. It not only correct, blur, and balance out the skin tone but also moisturizes, lifts, and adds extra volume for a silky smooth 3D complexion.

My thoughts: At last product I didn’t tried out which is quite funny because BCDation was included in so many recent memeboxes. To be honest, this is the product I’m excited the most and I was really close buying it on ebay. Glad I didn’t. Look at size of it, it’s almost half of full size product, such a nice sample ;o. Can’t wait to test it.

  • BANILA CO. Clean It Zero 7g x4 (full size 100ml for 22$)
This makeup remover goes on as a sherbet-like balm and transforms into a silky oil that effortlessly dissolves makeup and sunscreen. Its non-greasy, gentle formula made from papaya, acerola, and herbal extracts cleanse thoroughly without dehydrating the skin.

My thoughts: Well, many people raved about this product so I bought 5 samples of it like month ago. Then, I received one duo of it in cleanse&tone box. I probably have full size of it in those samples -.-. It wouldn’t be bad if I actually liked this product but it’s quite meh. First of all, you need to rub this thing on your face for like 4 min (which irritates my face a bit), but still it doesn’t clean up everything. I’m ending up using way much of it than I should just to be sure my face is actually clean. Oils are way better, you don’t need to rub them on your face and you can be sure that they will remove everything.

  • DR.YOUNG Pore Syok-Syok Cleansing Gel 15ml x2 (full size 150ml for 28$)
This gel-type deep cleanser penetrates deep down into pores to remove all excess oil, dirt, impurities, and sebum clogged up inside. A blend of morus bark, agrimonia eupatoria root extracts, and lime extracts deliver gentle yet effective sebum control and pore care. It’s oil-free, lightweight, and moisturizing as well.

My thoughts: We receiving 2 of those, which is really nice. I’m not sure if I will try them because I don’t really like gel cleansers, but maybe when I will travel they will become handy.

  • TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL Dinoplatz Cinema City 10ml (full size 30ml for 30$)
Delivering abundant nutrition and moisture to your skin for an egg-smooth texture, this multi-functional CC cream will brighten up your complexion, protect from the sun, and take care of signs of aging as well.

My thoughts: Another product I wanted to try for a while. Lately I’m so into bb/cc creams and foundations and I’m stocking them up like crazy. I really need to stop ;D. Again, really generous sample. I actually was intrigued by this brand but is was always to pricey for me so I am glad that I have chance to test something from them.

  • MISE EN SCENE Perfect Repair Treatment Pack 180ml (full size 180ml for 16$)
A simple 2-step hair care – shampoo and rinse – isn’t enough as the weather becomes chillier and drier. Twice a week, use this nourishing Perfect Repair Treatment Pack to deliver deep nutrition and repair and protect damaged hair ends.

My thoughts: Another product that memebox was throwing everywhere lately but I somehow missed it. This is the promised full size and I don’t mind getting it. I use hair conditioners a lot so I will test this thing out really soon.

  • SEVEN DROPS Sunblock SPF50+ PA+++ 7g (full size 50ml for 38$)
A lightweight sunblock enriched with nourishing moringa extracts. The 100% naturally derived formula is extremely gentle to all skin types and free of paraben, mineral oil, benzophenone, silicon, and talc. It provides high level of UV protection and the light formula absorbs easily and smoothly into skin like an essence and leaves skin with a lingering moringa scent.

My thoughts: Not really excited seeing this as I have many sample size of sunblocks. Despite that I think I will end up using it eventually.

  • RYO Anti Hair Loss Treatment 50ml (full size 200ml for 12$)
Infused with biota seed, coix seed, green tea and gold extracts, this hair treatment will not only prevent hair loss but also re-energize and strengthen thin, damaged hair. Its excellent cooling formula will gently soothe and nourish your scalp at the same time.

My thoughts: This product was included in memebox 12. I tried it and I’m not fan of it. I had feeling that it not only didn’t helped but made things worse. I won’t give it another chance.

  • WITCH’S POUCH Radiant Lolli Tint 03 Funky Bloom 2.5g (full size 4.5g for 14$)
This is a 3 in 1 must-have lip item that brings together the glossiness of lip glosses, naturally blending formula of lip tints, and the colorful radiance of lipsticks. It melts onto lips for a lasting pigmentation that instantly lights up your complexion with funky hot pink radiance.

My thoughts: Oh my this brand have such nice name and packaging *.*. I have way to much lip products, tints included, so not sure if I should open this one but oh it looks so pretty.

Overall: I think memebox done great job with this box. First of all we are getting more than promised as we getting double products. Box have really nice value and most of those samples are almost like full size products. I’m not excited about some products but I did expect that since I know it will have 11 products and it’s hard to like everything.

  • Tosowong Bee AC Control Lotion or Bee AC Control Toner 100ml (15$)
My thoughts: I wanted to get toner/mist because I have way to much lotions and creams, so I am really happy that I got it. Anyway, I think both products could be worth a try for people with acne prone skin.

  • Unni Recipe Firming Pact SPF25 PA+++ #21 LightBeige 12g (24$)
My thoughts: I am not sure what to think about this product. From description you could come to conclusion it’s cushion but it really isn’t, which is a shame. I wanted to try cushion product for a while now but I wasn’t lucky enough to receive it in memebox so I bought it myself. This product seems to be something between foundation in pact and compact. I am not really fan of compacts in general, application seems to be so unhygienic and often my skin becomes cakey after using them. In other hand, this brand seems to be really interesting. The package looks really expansive, but the puff is so cheap, it’s even funny. I am still debating if I should use it or not.

  • RiRe Cool Dr. Scalp 10ml & Hot Speed Manicure 15ml (11$)
My thoughts: I got so sad when I saw this in box. First of all, it’s repeat from At home box (and memebox staff said anniversary box won’t have repeats). Secondly, I tried those things and I didn’t really liked them. Really disappointing to see it here.

  • AHC Whitening Cream SPF35 PA++ 30ml (38$)
My thoughts: I suppose it’s okey item but I am not really thrilled to get it because I have so many whitening creams already. I would be way more happy if it was just moisturizing cream. And honestly, this product could be way better if it wasn’t multifunction. They claim you can use it as sunblock but I doubt anyone who really cares about sun protection would use it alone. It has only SPF35 and what’s more important only two +. I’m not that into sunblocks and protecting my skin from sun (I do use sunblocks only in summer to be honest) but I don’t really like products that are ,,all in one” because I have feeling  they aren’t that good as products that concentrate on one matter. I most likely won’t use this cream.

  • RiRe Capsule Mask Pack 75ml (22$)
My thoughts: You could get moisturizing, whitening or anti-aging version of it and I really wanted to get first one. Like I said, I have way to much whitening products and my skin doesn’t really need anti-aging properties just yet. Unfortunately, since I got anti-aging I rather won't use it. Product alone seems really interesting but not sure why it has such name, beacuase it's just a regular mist.

Overall: This box is so meh that it’s even sad. It’s anniversary box so you would think memebox would do their best to make it best box ever, ensure people that it’s worth buying from them. For me, they did opposite. I don’t like so many things about it, that I am not sure where to start. First of all: repeat. It’s just unfair since they claimed this box won’t have them. Secondly, we get only 5 items and 1 of them is like sample. It makes really low value box and it was for 29$. Many boxes for 23$ were way better.  I also don’t like when you can get item A or B or C etc., because when you get the one you wanted the least you will be unhappy for sure. While if there was only one option you wouldn’t care about it that much since everyone would get the same thing. I think it’s super boring box, nothing fun or interesting. I probably would be way more satisfied if Unni Recipe was actually cushion not something compact like, it would safe this box but unfortunately it isn’t.
